STORY of DANAE:-
DANAE was looking for a tea length wedding dress with her lovely mum but at the appointment, we didn’t have any samples in store for her to try.
As a designer, I suggested having her wedding dress custom designed but Danae prefers something she could try and know for sure its exactly what she’s looking for.
Browsing through our sample wedding dresses, her mum noticed the unique laser cut lace of one of our wedding dresses Style LOVISA K1421, a strapless laser cut lace mermaid wedding dress.
Danee, her mum commented how lovely if it was a tea length dress and not strapless. They both love its lace uniqueness especially the beautiful wavy lace trim hem and wondered how it would look as a shorter tea length wedding dress.
We convinced Danae to try LOVISA K1421 just so her mum could see how it would look like. Then we sort of played around with how its going to look as a tea length wedding dress by pulling up the skirt and they were both enchanted with the idea.
However, Danae had a few other appointments and wanted to see if she could find her dream wedding dress at another bridal store.
There was a wedding dress at another store that Danae liked exactly as what she thought she would have loved but it wasn’t a tea length dress and she was told it could easily be shortened to a tea length wedding dress. Both Danae and Danee just couldn’t forget the uniqueness of the laser cut lace and in comparison the lace of that dress seems just too common, what we would usually termed “bridal uniform” styles – the safe choice.
After doing the rounds of many bridal stores searching for that illusive tea length wedding dress, they return to discuss the possibility of using that unique laser cut lace to create Danae’s dream wedding dress.
Using Pixlr, I combined the neckline Danae liked, cut and paste and rearranged LOVISA K1421 and presented her with a crude image of how her dress would look like with the beautiful beaded belt that she liked and that sealed the deal.
As it was a custom design dress, we took all the relevant measurements to ensure great fit and at first fitting, Danae was delighted that it was fitting so well. All we needed to do was shorten the strap that was slightly loose on her right shoulder.
