STORY of RAVE:-

Rave and her fiance met with designer Lindsey to discuss the possibility of creating her dream wedding dress in dusty pink.  They have been to many bridal stores but couldn't find any dusty pink lace wedding dress she really wanted.  All the wedding gowns are only available in different shades of champagne or nude.  She was almost giving up on ever find her dream wedding dress.  Her lovely fiance didn't want her to just settle on just any wedding dress, he encouraged her to check me out and was stoked that she could get her dream wedding dress custom designed at such a reasonable price too.

Brief:

• dusty pink
• modern lace
• drop long sleeve
• no trim at sleeve-ends
• as much blings as possible

Rave picked out a few pink she liked from our evening gown swatch book and a quick sketch was done and quote provided.  Usually brides would want to sleep on it but she immediately say "Yes to the dress" and put the deposit down.

When I started sketching in the details of the lace that RAVE liked, I found that is was too busy for her petite frame. Hence the need to source for lace with more "vertical" lines.

Production begins with detailed instructions to overseas wedding factory production team:-

a)  Source for the "Dusty Pink" fabric, lace with more "vertical" lines and also "sparkle" tulle suitable to create the gown and send over for me to redesign.

b) The sparkle tulle wasn't "sparkly" enough under this lace so production team was instructed to source again.

QC photos to get the lace placements right - it took about 5 adjustments to finally get just the lace on the sleeves right.  There were many more QC photos to get the rest of the wedding dress to look great too.
